Apple Butter Pumpkin Pie

1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie crust1 cup canned pumpkin1 cup apple butter1/3 cup packed brown sugar1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon cinnamon1/4 teaspoon ginger1/4 teaspoon nutmeg3 large eggs2/3 cup evaporated milk1/3 cup milkwhipped cream for garnish


Pre-heat oven to 375 F. In a medium mixing bowl combine pumpkin, apple butter, brown sugar, salt and spices. Lightly beat in eggs. Stir in both milks. Pour into pie crust and bake for 25 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 F and bake an additional 25 minutes or until set or a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool to room temperature before serving. Garnish with whipped cream.
