Carolina Rice Bread

Ingredients:

1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast2 C. bread flour1 tsp. salt2 tsp. sugar4 tsp. nonfat dry milk1 1/2 tsp. unsalted butter or margarine1/2 C. white rice well cooked1/2 C. water1 large egg1 tsp. lemon juice3-C. capacity/16 servings:2 1/4 tsp. active dry yeast3 C. bread flour1 1/2 tsp. salt1 Tbsp. granulated white sugar2 Tbsp. nonfat dry milk1 Tbsp. unsalted butter or margarine3/4 C. well-cooked white rice3/4 C. water1 large egg1 tsp. lemon juice

Instructions:

All ingredients must be at room temperature, unless otherwise noted. Add ingredients in the order specified in your bread machine owner’s manual. Set bread machine on the basic/standard bread making setting. Select medium or normal baking cycle. Do not use the programmable timer when making this bread since the recipe contains perishable ingredients.
