Cheese and Clam Fondue

Ingredients:

8 oz process Cheese – cubed4 oz Swiss cheese – cubed1 can minced clams – (6 1/2 oz.)3 tbl finely chopped green pepper2 tbl chopped pimento3 dsh Tabasco sauceGarlic powder to tasteSeasoned pepper to taste1/2 tsp onion salt1/2 tsp lemon juice

Instructions:

Place cheese in 3-cup glass serving dish. Drain clams, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. Add liquid to cheese cubes. Set clams aside. Microwave cheese on High for 2 minutes or until just melted. stirring once. Stir in clams and remaining ingredients. Microwave on High for 2 1/2 minutes or until hot. Serve with cubes of French bread for dipping into cheese mixture.
