Johns Jerky

Ingredients:

2 gal. water1 C. salt1 C. brown sugar2 Tbsp. Accent6 cloves garlic1 tsp. pepper1 tsp. ground allspice5 lbs. beef or venison, cut into thin strips

Instructions:

Mix ingredients with water. Place garlic cloves in cheese cloth and crush. Let hang in water. Add meat and soak for 12 hours. Dry over coals, turning often.
