Pork Chops And Sauerkraut

6 to 8 pork chops2 Tbsp. oilseasoning saltpepper1 large can sauerkraut2/3 C. water1/3 C. vinegar1 small red apple, choppedfine and peeled1 small yellow onion, chopped fine1/2 tsp. caraway seedsalt and pepper to taste


Sprinkle both sides of meat with seasoning salt and pepper. Brown in the oil in electric skillet on both sides. Remove chops; pour off excess fat. Empty can of kraut into skillet and add remaining ingredients. Stir. Turn down to low and arrange chops on top. Cook for 45 minutes, checking frequently to be sure it does not dry out. Add a little water if it dries out.
