Puto Maya

Ingredients:

2 c. whole sweet rice (glutinous rice)4 c. coconut milk1 c. sugar1 c. grated fresh coconut

Instructions:

1. Rinse rice and place in a 2-quart saucepan.

2. Add coconut milk.

3. Boil for 15 minutes and simmer until rice is cooked–about 15 minutes or more.

4. Mold cooked rice in small cups and unmold each one on a sauce.

5. Sprinkle sugar and grated coconut on top of each mold.
