Quick Chili

2 tsp olive oil1 med onion chopped1 sm red pepper chopped4 x garlic cloves minced1 lb lean pork tenderloin trimmed, ground(your butcher will do this for you)3 tbl ground chili powder1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp allspice2 cup canned tomatoes undrained, andcoarsely chopped2 cup low-sodium beef broth1 tbl red wine1 tbl Worcestershire sauceFreshly-ground black pepper to taste


In a stockpot over medium-high heat, heat the oil. Add the onion and pepper and saute for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and saute for 2 minutes. Add the pork and saute for 5 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients and simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.

This recipe yields 6 servings.

Serving size: 1 cup.
