Ram Tough Chili

2 lb Beef chuck, coarsely ground1 tbl Oil1 can Tomato sauce (8 oz.)1 med Onion, finely chopped1 tsp Garlic powder OR5 x Cloves Fresh garlic, minced1/4 cup Chili powder1 tsp Oregano1 1/2 tsp Salt2 tsp Ground cumin1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper


Brown meat in oil in a covered 2 quart pan. Add tomato sauce, onion and garlic powder. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if too thick. Serve with side dishes of pinto beans, chopped onions and grated cheddar cheese.

Serves 6.
