Upside Down Ham Loaf

1 pound. ground smoked ham1/2 pound. ground lean pork1/2 pound. ground veal2 eggs, beaten1 C. milk1/2 tsp. salt2 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped4 C. corn flakes, crushed1/2 C. brown sugar1 tsp. whole cloves


Combine in mixing bowl and mix well ham, pork and veal(can request butcher to grind together), eggs, milk, salt and green pepper. Add corn flakes. Place brown sugar and cloves in bottom of a loaf pan. Add meat mixture on top of brown sugar and cloves. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Set oven to 350 degrees. Let stand a few minutes before removing from pan. Invert to serve.
